As nice as this is, this is a normal moment at most Ranger games anytime there is Military, Police, or Fire department men and women at the game and show up on the big screen they all get standing ovations! It's pretty great

Well I am glad that I can safely say I have never lied, or embellished the truth ever in any way.

what is sad to me is that as a country this is all we will do for this man applause. Its what we do for all our veterans call them hero's when they leave for war profiteering by BUsh family and when they come home we say thanks for making some families in America very very wealthy have fun with that PTSD.

Note that nowhere in the report does it say that Terpak was on the helicopter or knew who was on which aircraft--The statement is that Terpak was "put in charge of their safety" AFTER the incident had happened. I too wondered if he was complicit in the confabulated story but was very relieved, upon reviewing this video a couple times, that there was no reason from this video to think so.

Maybe we shouldn't be worried about what Brian Williams said and admire what this man, Tim Terpak, did for his country!

I don't understand why Brian Williams is getting any credit here at all. How did he manage to somehow make this about himself and not the U.S. Troops that the story should have been about. And every soldier their deserves respect for their selfless duty of protecting their country, not for saving a news crew that flew their only for credentials rather than coverage.
