Hi SDij909 !
I know that you video is very old now but it's the only who cover the possibility to control Ableton live with a smartphone.


I just buy TouchDaw on my Huwei Y6 2018 to control Ableton Live on my Macbook Pro mid 2010 who turn on Mac OS 10.12 Sierra.
In first I use another phone like Wifi spot cause i've not ethernet connection where i live. I created a Wifi connection like TouchDaw Company explain on there tutorials but it doesn't work at all and so i decided to try with connecting both with USB Cable. I all ready used the developper option on my Smartphone to have the possibility to use this like midi controller.
- In TouchDaw App > SetUp > Midi Ports > Daw Controller > USB. I choosed the Ableton Live Layout in the preferences.
- In Ableton DAW > Preferences > Link Midi > Surface Control > Enter = Huawei (ATU-L11) + Output = Huawei (ATU-L11) also.
- After Midiport liste > Remote > Input = Huawei (ATU-L11) and the remote button > ON


It's doesn't work anymore. Nothing.


Can you please, explain to me where there's a mistake?
There's no explaination on TouchDaw website who resolve my problem...

I bought a Viewsonic Gtablet...Hoping this can replace my Frontier AlphaTrack (as much as I love it, touchdaw looks far more powerful, especially on a 1024x600 tablet screen). Cool demo, anyway - thanks for sharing!
