Turn 2 Wins - MTG Modern Cheerios Deck Tech

preview_player
Показать описание

Sram, Senior Edificer and his brother Puresteel Paladin let you pull off some insanely fast wins in Modern, almost out of nowhere. The deck is called Cheerios, because all the zero-mana artifacts look like the breakfast staple, but don't let the cute name fool you--this deck is serious business.

Drop a Sram or Paladin, then start tossing zero-mana equipment on the table and drawing cards. Get yourself in a corner? Retract, and start again. Eventually you'll gather up a way to make red mana (Mox Opal or Paradise Mantle) along with your win condition, Grapeshot.

The tidal wave of free artifacts you dropped have put your storm count through the rough, so Grapeshot becomes lethal when aimed at your opponent.

This was very interesting, thanks. I have trouble playing infinite loops because it kinda feels like cheating and it feels too easy. I know it's not cheating, but I guess I feel dirty when I do it. I prefer other strategies.

I still think noxious revival would be a 1 or 2 of. You really can't rely too heavily on that 7 card draw. I feel like it's begging for a whif. Just my opinion

I run a second grapeshot. But my lgs has a lot of mill so it helps with consistency if I can’t find days undoing

would mox amber not work seeing as you should have a sram on board for the combo?

Great editing! Should be complimenting the deck itself but this was nice on the eye.

I love cheerios decks. My favorite Commander deck is Jhoira Cheerios, and I've slowly been making modifications to move it towards cEDH levels, with swap-outs for more casual play. This sounds like a fantastic modern deck that appeals to my love of storming off. It'll be pricey, though...

This deck ruins people’s day. Please don’t play at your lgs unless it’s to troll merfolk players

Would Mox Amber be a good cheaper alternative to Mox Opal? I don't want to spend over 200 dollars and Amber seems like a good alternative.

All the comments crying about modern and never playing i bet only plays commander with there 100 cards that just rather set and talk and play a card ever 20 mins.

Its not even like this deck is part of the meta right now.
Its not even being ran in the lowest of teirs

This doesn't sound fun to play or play against.
But then, my casual games aren't for thousands in prize money.

The new 1 drop birdo from dominaria helps with the turn two wins.

Yeah i would very much stress having a Hurkyl's recall or too sideboarded or even mainboarded given how EVERYONE will probably start playing Damping Sphere.

Mindbreak trap the grapeshot copies for free. Done. Though no one ever runs mindbreak, it does it's job.
