I remember on March 13, 2020, when I was in 7th grade, me, and everyone else, was looking forward to a break from school. The break was 2 weeks, and then it was a depressing, hard, nearly 3 months doing school from home. Summer wasn’t much better, it was also very depressing.

I still remember hearing about a virus in China, about how fast it was spreading. I brushed it off, and laughed with my friends about it. Spring break was coming after all and I was excited and had other more fun things to think about. It's almost been 2 years since then, here in the U.S. things have only been getting worse. My family is getting through fine but its worrying. I have a friend who got it who is thankfully ok. Some of my relatives are sick but it's not confirmed if it's covid or not. My little brother isn't doing well in school and I blame that for how often he gets sick and has to stay home, It's usually not bad but it's still happening almost every month. I can only imagine how it is for those less fortunate then us. I understand we're in a much better situation than many and I can only hope that anyone who reads all of this is ok or will be ok. I wish the best for all of you.

My goodness. 2 years.

I was 13 when I started hearing about the pandemic taking place on the news at school in 7th grade. Then in March 2020 we were on lockdown and I was devastated. When I was 14, the pandemic kept getting worse due to the news about the delta variant.

Now I’m 15 and a new variant has come up: Omicron

Now what will we do??🥺

I remember hearing about this on the news in January of 2020 and wondering why it was on the news because it was on the other side of the planet. So we forgot about for a couple weeks and saw on the news how fast it was spreading. And then march I got it and was not doing so great. Its terrifying and cool how fast stuff like this can spread.
