“If you serve, it’s going to eventually work.” Simple but profound concept for creators. I’m just beginning to learn about Youtube & how it works. I think the Golden Rule is really applicable when creating content…”Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Have passion for what you want to share. Share in a way that respects the viewer’s time. Create in a way that makes the viewers feel as if they invested well after viewing your video. I feel like the algorithm is shifting more to authenticity and simple, uncomplicated thumbnails and simple videos without tonnes of editing. So many big creators are adopting this tactic and its working

Finally started!! So much value in this video. Biggest takeaway and lesson this reinforces is the "algorithm" is really just how much people want to watch and listen to your video. My goal is to give as much value as possible, and not be too "clickbaity" or deceiving. I admit, I am struggling with trying to figure out how to provide the most value in the shortest amount of time in a way that is not boring and the viewer can feel like they truly got a piece of value that made the time worth it. I'm 100% working hard on this though!

I have seen that video before funny enough! It is crazy to think that such an old video that delivers value to the next generation can go "viral" like that on YouTube.

Just goes to show you that consistency helps on any platform. You don't know if a video you posted a year ago is going to suddenly start getting more and more views because of everything that you have done.

Success for me was when I uploaded my first video. After that I've just been laughing at failure but doing anything I want; enjoying freedom.

I've been on this Platform since the beginning and I love it and don't plan on Stopping it but if I get even 1 view it's served it's purpose. This is a GREAT video*

This is such a great topic. I own very expensive camera gear and powerful computers. However a video filmed and edited on a smart phone can and will out perform professionally produced content. Storyline trumps everything. Quality is nice but most of the turn and burn content wins over overly produced content no one wants to see.
