Just a few weeks ago, Comodo, the company that makes security applications, released a new web browser based on Chromium. It's a secure browser, but if you've installed Google Chrome Extensions and if you're used to customizing stick with your own browser.

Very good Internet browser! I like it! For me, it's better than Google Chrome!

Just downloaded comodo dragon version 18.0.3.0, it looks and feels really great :) But it will probably just be too difficult to stop using firefox, so I don't think I will be using comodo dragon as my default browser, but those of you who are using google chrome should definitively consider using dragon instead of chrome.

@samer065 As DRAGON use the source-code of Chrome (both are in version 15.0.874...), they are only in 32-bit. Dragon will perfectly run in any Windows from XP up to 7.

@uiehoga I installed Dragon today (15.0.874..) and you can now use all extensions! AD-Block is really useful. Dragon is impressive. Go ahead ;)

@PCProKids7 You should update this video because you can easily install Chrome extension into Comodo Dragon. I've already installed Vimium, Session Buddy, and LastPass. All of them being chrome extension. I'm not sure if themes work, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Funny thing... When using Chrome and entering the download site for Comodo Dragon, the download link actually disappears. Dirty compoetition?

The reason I left Google Chrome was because of Omnibox's auto-complete, that others have complained about as well.

I got sick of it and decided to try Comodo Dragon. The security/privacy featues added was all nice but the only reason I moved to dragon was because my Chrom plugins worked in Dragon and more importantly, Omnibox Autocomplete no longer exists.

you CAN install chrome extensions. maybe you have a different version of dragon. i use comodo dragon and i have chrome extensions.

@sg12nk34 Chrome does use of several features that Firefox is still trying to develop (like multi-process). Dragon has the source-code of chromium but developed with more security resources. You will not feel any diference when use Dragon. Im using and enjoying a lot! DRAGON for everybody.

so its pretty much an edited version of chromium (blue chrome 0:25 for noobs who dont know what that is)

@tat2villain Hey, I have to say I've expierienced exact same thing in my case, I use Comodo secutiry for over a year I'd guess and using the dragon for 1-2 months. Pleased with both, very few false alarms on the defense, and in general the browser fills up everything I really needed. Comodo is just great company! :)
