I love those curlers, and the curl holds forever! Curlers always hold better because your hair has time to sit and cool in the shape, and they always are more long lasting and shiny. Those gals in the 70’s and 80’s had that part right!

For the amount the Dyson cost you can get yourself a nice professional hair dryer a straightener a nice curler a few lovely round brushes and hot rollers so definitely wouldn't get the Dyson unless I have money to waste. Coming from a hairdresser

With the Dyson it really is all about technique. Here, she is curling whilst holding the wand vertically, but with the hot curlers she is allowing them to curl her hair whilst the roller is horizontal in her hair, that is why it looks bouncier and fuller. The best way to use the Dyson is to firstly allow it to wrap your hair and hold it horizontally, leave an inch or two away from your scalp and let the heat curl it for 10 seconds, then put on the cool blast and roll it all the way up to your scalp and hold it for about another 10-15 seconds. You’ll notice a tighter and much more bouncier curl, the cool blast also makes your hair look glossier. But for the price I can understand why people would prefer the hot rollers! 😊

I've been using hot rollers for 40 years & always get the most compliments when I do! Done in 20 minutes & lasts for days!...oh and yes the price & longevity of the rollers, bonus!

Been using rollers for 6 month because you can roll them up and then your hands are free to do makeup etc. just makes sense.

I always hated using hot rollers because I would never have enough. My hair was so big and Thick I would need like 2-3 sets of rollers. And they would burn my fingers
