I think this video missed the mark. IMSA is first and foremost a Professional Sportscar Series. And in the world of professional racing series in the USA, it is the only sportscar series. Even worldwide, IMSA and Its sister series in Europe, the WEC, are the only pro sportscar series. We used to have pro TransAm and Can Am, but not anymore. There is open-wheel formula car, stock car, sprint car and drag racers. And each one is unique. But IMSA is sportscars, both prototype and GT and I would have made that point so that the novice or newbie race fan could understand that difference right away

Well done the PRO class does not require it to be Professional drivers. Amateur drivers are still permitted!
