Just discovered this amazing performance - it was 31 years ago. Ah, the time passes so quickly…. Can hardly believe Dave performed so well considering his challenges at that time. Truly, truly EPIC performance!! His voice, it’s incredible, deep, moving. (And yes, love the high kicks!) One of their best songs!!

I wish they would of played this song this past Tuesday at the Kia Forum in LA. Unfortunately they did not, but it was still an amazing concert. Does Depeche Mode even know this is one of their best songs, and should be played at every concert.

Dude, I know Violator had amazing songs but Halo is my favorite. The joke with my buddy in the 90s was when are they going to release a Japanese single of Halo.

It's crazy how Alan's voice could bend *PERFECTLY* with Dave's here, or with Martin's in songs like "The things you said" live in Pasadena!
After his departure in 1995 it all went down the drain pretty quickly.
