LLS Fundraising Campaign Slideshow

I made this video for my friend Roxana Muzzammel to help with her cancer fundraising campaign Mar - Jun 2012. See details below.
Dear Friends,
On March 28th, I officially started fundraising for the 2013 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. I am participating in the National Capital Area chapter of the campaign.
I have been inspired to participate in this fundraising campaign by the loving memory of my father, the wonderful and meaningful life he lived, and the battle he valiantly fought but sadly lost to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). My father, Dr. Al Mohiuddin Muzzammel, passed away from AML on March 19, 2011.
This is a nationwide fundraising campaign to help raise funds for blood cancer research -- leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. I will be competing with several other individuals in communities across the country to raise the most funds during the ten-week campaign (Mar 28 -- Jun 8). During the course of the campaign, I'll be taking part in various fundraising efforts and events to raise as much money as I can.
If I am able to raise even $50,000, I will be eligible to have an Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) research grant in my father's name. Furthermore, the money will help blood cancer patients who cannot afford hospital bills for treatment. Research in blood cancer is also instrumental in progress in research for other cancers.
Today, more than 1,000,000 Americans are living with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with one of these cancers - and every ten minutes, someone dies. Leukemia causes more deaths than any other disease among children and young adults under the age of 20. Society-funded research has produced severely needed new treatments to help enhance and prolong lives.
We will be hosting various fundraising events and initiatives during the ten-week LLS campaign. We will be having a charity fashion show event at the Huxley venue on Sunday, April 28th and a fundraising dinner at the Diya Restaurant on Sunday, May 5th , both in the Washington DC metro area (see links below to purchase tickets for the events). I respectfully request your support for this cause; your donation will help fund blood cancer research towards a cure and help pay costs for blood cancer patients, giving them a chance at a chance at a healthier life. If you are able and willing to, please donate and help spread the word by forward this link to anyone you think might be wiling to support our cause. Support from any and all will be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
