“April Showers” (1921, B. DeSylva/L. Silvers) with Alex Belhaj

I’ve been having so much fun developing this duo project with my good friend and lovely musician Alex Belhaj! Here’s a clip of a pleasant, optimistic tune we recently started playing together. Alex is playing an early 30s round hole Gibson L4, I’m playing my trusty 1930 Gibson L5.

We will be playing an acoustic concert this Saturday October 21 at the Blacksmith shop in Manchester, MI. Two sets, starting 7:30pm. Come out for a chance to hear what we’ve been working on in a lovely intimate space!
