EU Agro-Trade Platform: webinar 'Innovation in agriculture and funding under the CAP'
Показать описание
Agriculture in Poland and in Europe is facing new challenges. There is the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to ensure food safety on the one hand, and on the other, the degradation of resources such as water, soil and phosphorus, and thus the need to minimise the environmental impact of agricultural production.
At what stage of smart farming are we now in Poland? What products and services are offered by the suppliers of plant protection products, fertilisers and digital tools to support field work? Will integrated pest management help to reduce environmental pressure and protect biodiversity? How can we effectively introduce and coordinate activities related to innovation in the countryside and ensure the cooperation of agriculture, business and national administration? Where will the funds for this come from?
Speakers:
Marek Zagórski – Secretary of State for Digitization, Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland
Wolfgang Burtscher – Director-General of DG Agriculture and Rural Development
Prof. Jozsef Popp – Hungarian University of Agriculturaland Life Sciences (MATE)
Michał Wiśniewski – Deputy Director General National Support Center for Agriculture (Poland)
