I was getting so burnt out over Genshin and then GITCG turned that around, honestly I thought it would be just another feature I wouldn’t care about but it’s awesome

I'm enjoying Keqing as a major value card. She GENERATES a card in your hand. That's huge. If it's in your hand, be sure to elemental tune it before you use her skill again, and you get it right back. That utility in addition to its actual use of a zero cost, quick swap to her is just... *chefs kiss*

I've been running her with Mona and Fischl for resonance. Lots of fun!

Some good combos to consider.

Liben and the Parametric Transformer. The Parametric Transformer will give you additional dice after it sacrifices itself but the dice are random elemental dice. If you still have some leftover after triggering it it can jumpstart Liben on the next turn.

Chef Mao and the NRE. This is a deceptively strong engine that can give you all the food you could use and can essentially pay for itself while giving you extra card draw overtime. Also with all the healing it's very likely that your characters aren't going to be dying anytime soon. Special mention to the Lotus Crisps that prevent 3 damage. These are a great utility for 1 mana. You can use it on a character you want to switch into and give them a good safety net to protect themselves with. It can also help to weaken an Elemental Burst's effectiveness.

And finally Tubby and any of the 2 cost Location cards. Tubby can give you a lot of insane value over time by letting you play a lot of the powerful utility locations for free once per turn. Healing combos like the Cathedral and the Inn can keep your characters healthy, the Liyue Harbor wharf can give you a ton of card draw overtime for no cost and the Dawn Winery can save you on switches to smooth out your plays. All of these are cards you could already be playing and adding Tubby to your deck will make them all free once per turn.

a note when it comes to Liben, each Omni die counts as a unique die
meaning that if you play Liben turn 1 planning on him activating turn 3, make sure that if you do have a combo that will leave you with 3 dice left, but you want him to collect 2, that your duplicate dice aren't Omni dice

Katheryne is a strong card. Not until i encountered a situation where i needed to end my turn after a switch and I failed since katheryne card automatically consumes. Now I am using 'Leave it to me' card instead.

I'm running Ayamiya and Magu Oceanid control, and also played Mono Pyro, and here are my tips:

1. Aggro heavily depends on setting up the board as much as possible, so Transformer are better options overall.
2. Magu Oceanid is a Summon Spam deck, and I am using the Food Engine (NRE + Chef Mao) and all the 0 cost food for simple dice generation even if it seems to do nothing that turn. Add in Hydro Resonance and Mona, and you have the most annoying, stalling deck even if your summons are dealt by Xiao, since the healing and freeze is enough to buy you time.
3. Mono Element is where The Best Companion Ever!!!, Strategize, Jade Chamber, Katheryne, and Element Specific Artifacts shine the most, because you are essentially trading reaction damage for pure resource advantage.
4. I find Strategize to be a weak card in Aggro and Control, but in Midrange, I only keep 1 or 2 copies depending on the deck. This is because you can do a lot with 1 dice. Gaining 2 cards is nice, but then, Genius Invocation always ends in Turn 3, and you can get higher value by playing Liben or Timmie in the same round. Strategize is a net neutral (-1 card -1 die for 2 cards) while Timmie is a +1 (-1 card for +1 card +1 die) after three turns (YGO equivalent is Shard of Greed) while Liben is an INSANE +3 (-1 card for +2 card, +2 die, since you can't use the extra dice you pay for Liben most of the time. There is even a Liben+ Resonance die combo where you trade that die for an immediate +2 instead)

Finally a YouTuber that says that card draw IS the more important thing to do. Great video

Personally, one of my favorite support cards is the jade chamber.
It guarantees dice that are useful for your active character. And even if you plan on using a different character, the mismatched dice can still be used for other things, even a simple normal attack.

You have to be careful with the smart die when using Magu Kenki the system doesnt seem to realize he wants cryo to keep his cryo.

I've been having *so* much fun with the tcg. I've got a noelle deck as my main and I'm working on perfecting my aggrivate deck. Here's a couple tips I've got:
1. The more low-cost/non-matching dice cards you've got, the less value Liben has.
2. Got a deck with lots of burst-reliant characters? Iron tongue tian, liu su, and the exile's circlet can help you pop off that combo faster/with less dice than calx's arts, starsigns (mona card), or simply generating more dice for more actions
3. "I haven't lost yet!" (itto card) is a universally good card for any deck. Can get you out of a pinch real nicely. Its useless if your opponent kills your character after you've ended your turn though
4. 2 artifacts that I've found to be invaluable are gambler's and exile's. Exile's is good on anyone who just wants to pop their 2 energy burst and swap off (xingqiu, kaeya, collei, etc). Costs 2 dice, they don't even need to match. Gambler's is more situational but its really good for 1 turn kills if you have a main damage dealer. Noelle /w burst active + gambler + minty meat rolls go

I haven't had a proper sleep in 3 days now.. Because I am addicted to this game... The fact that I have put off playing this for so long... Why? Thank you so much for all the great tips !!! I am definitely going to apply it right this second HAHA

The Maguu Kenki requires to select the dice manually! Don’t want to spend the Cryo ones accidentally.

As a Magic: the Gathering judge I'm very impressed by the potential this Card Game have. Hoping a lot they expand it \o/
Also, your assesment about the power of Card Draw and Midrange being favored by the game reward system is a bullseye hit. Congrats 🤟

Lieben actually tallies all Omni-dice. So suppose you have 2 Omni left over, it will both count towards the stacks.

The only argument I have is tip 3. I always try to match my teams element because I might need those certain dice to do what I have to do for the selected character or when I switch characters. Even if I get all the dice elements I want like say 8 Cryo, I doubt I would use all of them in one go for that character and use a few for the other cards I have and that’s ok. So I see what ur saying and it’s true, but I rather try to get all the dice I need for a better outcome

This is just my opinion and im quite new but I personally think that the Ningguang card is SO OP! Her skill can be reduced with the archaic petra artifact to 2 and it generates a shield thing which reduces the dmg taken by 1 or 2 (i havent checked) plus her burst does 6 dmg! Which can almost insta-kill a low hp enemy!

I think TCG is pretty refreshing and fun.
My deck consists of with Barbara, Kaeya and Xingqiu.
Barbara for some healing, Xingiu for some extra normal dmg and Kaeya for his burst. I also have exile, calxs art and Tian in it, so I can get their burst quickly, also a lot of stuff to get more dice.
I mainly build it around Kaeya's burst, because it can do 2 dmg for the price of 1 dice.
Most funny moments when I win are those where my opponent basically dooms themselves. There was a Ganyu (1 HP) they killed my active character.
I was forced to switch and because of the switch the icicle did dmg back to Ganyu.

Is it the best deck?? No
Is it fun when I win? In some instances: hell yeah!

I remember this one time Kaeya soloing it against 3 character cards, honestly I'm note shocked than proud when Kaeya killed all 3.

My lessons learned: 3W paimon is bad, elemental artifacts are also bad, liben is worse than expected and food is way better than expected

The terrorshroom and magu kenki inside the catstail tavern is so hard. Specially with only 5 rounds defeat, and not less than 2 characters dead jesus christ, my 1st time using my head and think about what strategy and cards i will use.
