I bought that Xmark about 7-8 yrs ago and have used almost every day since with zero issues, never had a cable or pulley failure. Some of it’s competitors are much narrower which to me is not good for flys, It’s also wide enough and steady enough that it doesn’t need to be bolted down like some of those other ones you showed. I also figured out how to build a wooden platform that allows me to use both stacks for belt squats. It’s been an awesome machine! My advice is to buy something that is easy to transition from each exercise to the next. Can’t believe how expensive the all are now!

Awesome review of so many really nice functional trainers. I would not shy away from a single stack. You can do so much with it. With functional trainers you may have to be more creative with your positioning, because not all exercises can be done on it. That said, it is so much easier, convenient and time saving to move a pin rather than the weight.

Coop!! Your videos are always very informative. When can we see a video for the Centr 1 Home Gym Functional Trainer?!?

Great video, Dog. You should have mentioned Stray Dog Strength functional trainer. It is a great functional trainer that can also be used as a squat rack too, does not take up a lot of space, and you can add many great attachments to it too. AND you can choose from many colors too, which is something that not a lot of companies offer on their functional trainers. I figure if I am going to spend a lot of money on one I should be able to get my favorite color too. :D I plan on getting one next year and adding dumbell shelf attachments in between them. You should do a video on this functional trainer someday.

I have 2 of the Titan plate loaded towers. I bought them early-pandemic for maybe $180ish a piece which feels pretty great right now. I do so much with them almost every workout. I would of course love to have selectorized stacks, but for 1/5 the price I am very happy with them.

GREAT VIDEO! Thank You very much for taking the time to do this video. One question about REP Fitness, do they make a Smith Machine? Hope and Pray all is well in your neck of the woods.

Bought the Inspire FTX earlier this year from Costco when it was on sale for $1100 in July. Very happy with it thus far and assembly was pretty easy.

Bought the inspire fitness sf3 through costco and love it so far! I was a little indifferent on the smith machine functionality but find myself using it every workout for a few moves.

Coop, nice video. Very comprehensive. Two things though: (1) can you cover a summary of simple attachment options to racks with different types of resistance options and (2) cover the differences and similarities as well as integration of cables and resistance bands into training?
