This is super cool (and I am speaking in ignorance here), but wouldn't this system suffer from the same thing as people who use the same password for everything? It seems like if your email password was cracked, all of your logins using this would be compromised.

If someone hacks your email, the hacker will potentially have access to any other account whose user id is that email address. That is a basic engineering concept called "Single point of failure". Not good.
