Sex is a gift to be enjoyed in the context of marriage. The devil does his best to push singles into sex before marriage and keep married people out of sex in marriage.

The Purpose of Sex
1. Procreation (Genesis 1v28)
2. Pleasure (Proverbs 5v18-19)
3. Protection (1 Corinthians 7v2)
4. Intimacy (Genesis 4v1)
5. Comfort (2 Samuel 12v24

Getting Practical:

1. Sex is the Superglue of Marriage. (1 Corinthians 6v16)

2. Sex is about Serving, not Selfishness. (1 Corinthians 7v3-4)

3. Understanding the Difference
A man is a fountain (always ready)
A woman is a well (needs to be drawn out)

4. Pursue Purity
Virginity is abstaining from sex before marriage, but purity is for life.
Lust, flirtation, emotional attachments, and addiction to porn will damage your sexual relationship with your spouse.

5. Deal with the Abuse.
If you have been abused, it can affect your ability to receive and give love. Be open about it; seek professional help.

Dear pastor, blessings to you . Great video. Please, can you make a presentation about the ways, methods of contraception that are pleasing before God. This is very important, given that sometimes there are inclinations, such as illness, aging, the age difference of the spouses, or the decision not to want a child. Doctors also have their own opinion when you come to them for a check-up. That is why I ask you for some presentation, advice on acceptable ways to protect against pregnancy, and a healthy sexually intimate life for the rest of the spouse's life.

I’m faaaar from needing this teaching.(I mean I’m 23)but I think God has called me to be as Paul.(no wife mean….obviously not an apostle)

Always initiating intimacy is exhausting. As a husband, its also respecting my wife if she has no interest in being intimate. I've never approved of a television in the bedroom, but now tablets and cell phones have filled that space.

I don’t want to rush into a marriage just for intimacy or do anything else foolish, but I wish I could just shut down the hormones and desires and whatever until it’s no longer a sin for me to act on them. Im not suggesting to take or demand sex. As with any scriptural command not being done if a spouse will not do their biblical duty you are to bring it to address it with them privately and if that doesn't work then bring it to the church community (Mathew 18;15-17)
