That’s one way to hang a job out for about 3 hours longer that necessary 😂

theyve gotta redesign the jaw screws to be something quick-releasable. if i had that tool, my first upgrade would be tossing those screws off into the horizon and putting cotter pins in the holes instead

While I can see the benefit, I think there's a few design flaws:
1) The stripping and crimping for the same size should ideally be within the same set of jaws, so you don't need to keep switching every time you do a crimp.
2) I really don't see the point in an electric crimper for small ferrules - I can see why you might have a floor-mounted one in a factory, but for general control panel building, I think hand crimpers are quicker and lighter.

It seems like they didn't really know who they were aiming the tool at, so you have a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. IMO, the main focus should have been on the solar / battery installers.

I actually have these crimpers and the lug crimping is awful, doesnt crimp down tight enough and 10-16mm lugs can be pulled off by hand

Warum schauen die Ader hinten aus den Aderendhülsern heraus? Das sollte man doch schöner hin bekommen. Oder hülsen in der Passenden länge kaufen !!

Over crimped terminals with ears bigger than the king. Probably extruded the wire too. Power tools have their place but no one in their right mind is going to be setting up a power crimper to do 2.5mm or less unless they are in a factory making up harnesses and they'd be using a bench mount machine.

Spend time and money wisely.

..and the first jaw change, one of those thumb screws is just gonna f*ck right off, never to be seen again.

Swapping jaws all the time with no quick-release would probably piss me off day 1. lol

Thats not how a Hex Crimp should look. It doesn't squash flat the sides of the Lug. Please send it back to Taiwan (Possibly China) and tell them if they can fine tune the little hickups i might even buy 1

Does it have a safety feature that prevents crushing your thumbs?

Too much time wasted... and the crimp with the sharp ends sticking out! No thanks, unless it's free of

Bet they're very pricey, 99% of the time a tool that is meant to do multiple jobs is inefficient and/or crap, ferrel crimps, through crimps and cable cutters are a better way to do them jobs and i bet the price difference is huge
