A few extra tech specs for you :D

- Club: Approx. 400g total
- Head: Approx. 278g - constructed of a 17/4 stainless steel head and 455 high-tensile stainless steel face insert with machined grooves.
- Shaft: 39", 80g, Graphite, R-Flex, approx. 3-4 iron length with 9 iron swing weight
- Grip: custom 14" grip (3.5" longer than normal)

Regarding a couple other things you mentioned:

- Putter Loft: funnily enough there is a bit of variation out their in the market, with 2° - 4° standard. Q has 5° which is a little bit more than normal but as you said, there is always a little bit of compromise when it comes to creating something that works well for a wide range of lofts/goals!
- Lie angle: we actually created it in a way so that the lie angle automatically flattens 4° as you move from 64° through to 5°!

Peter, I would love to see a side-by-side comparison of how you score with the Divnick vs the Q. Scoring is the bottom line...more important than shot-by-shot comparisons. I'm the first to agree that a single club isn't as effective as a full set of "dedicated tools" that are designed for specific tasks. But the portability, travelability, and fun-factor of playing with one club is very appealing.
On the topic of how it compares to a full set, in order to make the sole-bounce angle 4 degrees on the first Sand wedge loft, it removes sole material on the lower lofts (3, 3.5, and 4) that would give them a lower CG and larger sweet spot. So that is why it is less forgiving on the lower lofts than the higher lofts. Of course, that is one of the trade-offs of an all-in-one club. But since the majority of shots during a round are the mid to high irons and wedges, I designed this club to excel on those lofts while giving up a lower CG and larger sweet-spot on the lower lofts. Fortunately, if a person has a hard time getting the ball airborne on the 3, they can set it to one of the higher lofts and find their maximum distance loft. The swing speed is the same since the length of the shaft is the same length. So customers can find their own ideal distance loft.
Again, one club that does everything, at an affordable price, collapses for travel, and scores as low as possible was, and is, my goal and it has served us well for 30 years and thousands of our clubs being used around the world. So a side-by-side score comparison would make a fantastic video.

Really enjoyed the review. I've had the club for over a month now and played and practiced quite a bit with it. Actually, the mid (5) and short irons settings performed nearly as well as my regular Pings (to my surprise...) and I was about a club longer with the Q club. The strike was a lot more solid and stable than I expected. Really good feel on solid strikes.The club (all settings) does seem to have a push/fade/slice bias as you noted - particularly with the lower lofts (11, 17, and 23...) and probably for the reasons you stated. Good suggestions about the grip taper and sight-line for the putter setting. As I understand it, the people at Q will continue to refine the club in the near future. Glad you enjoyed it because it really is a lot of fun to play with.

Good review, I just wish you would have used it in the stock length before cutting it down 3". My guess is... It would have gone a lot further at 39" off the tee.
I think the key to getting different yardages is to grip up and down the grip, that's why the grip is longer. It's not really designed to be used at "one length."

Also, if you don't want to use the lob wedge setting because of the high bounce, you can use the 58 degree setting which is between S and L. The settings are on the website, there are 11 settings, each 6* of loft difference.

I'm thinking it would be cool in a three club Sunday bag with a traditional driver and putter.

I am so interested in buying a club like this as I am on a budget and have no way to store/transport clubs. Could I please buy it off of you for around $50 if your not using it. I don’t want to impose I just really neeed a club like this and can’t find an affordable club.

What people don't understand about golf clubs is that it is so costly to figure out your Loft in life settings that it could take you years to figure that out. The professional figure it out because they have people adjusting it daily for them. But the golf industry has prevented products like this from hitting the market because it would affect the economy of golfing.

I am playing JumboMax Str8. If they offered custom grips even midsize or oversize, as long as they were as long as the grips the Q comes standard with would consider. None of the commercially available grips are going to be as long as the Q club grips.

Avis pour les francophones ; Après six parcours en HIVER, j'attends avec impatience un peu de ciel bleu et un parcours qui ne soit pas un "champs de patates" .
Malgré tout, le Q club répond plutôt bien aux attentes, même si la sensation de ne jamais avoir la semelle du club bien à plat sur le sol est un peu étrange et dérangeante au début.
Les graduations intermédiaires sont faciles à trouver mais il faut passer un peu de temps au practice avant de pouvoir étalonner les distances.
La position 64° "cuillère à soupe" est un peu curieuse .
Le putting est difficile si on ne pose pas le bout du grip en face du nombril pour jouer les deux bras tendus ( c'est la technique que j'ai trouvé).
La position des mains sur le grip est importante pour réussir un bon coup de golf, un bon rythme reste essentiel sur un terrain boueux (bourrins s'abstenir)
Au final je crois que ce matériel demande un peu de patience et d'entrainement pour en tirer l'essentiel .
Le point fort 💪 💪 de Q reste la facilité d"emploi, le peu de place dans la voiture (et dans l'avion des vacances), la qualité des matériaux utilisés .
Les vieux golfeurs (moi inclus) sont ravis de ne pas passer leur temps à nettoyer les roues du charriot après 18 trous .
Le speed golfeurs peuvent enfin battre des records sans trimballer plus qu'un club .
Les "radins" sont ravis de ne pas payer une fortune des outils qu'ils devront changer tous les deux ans pour rester à la mode.
Seront déçus ceux qui veulent absolument "avoir la plus longue" et qui arrosent le parcours de balles perdues.
Une nouvelle version du jeu de Golf voit le jour avec Q club .
