HOW TO PROGRAM HOLDEN COMMODORE NEW IGNITION KEY VT VX VZ VE

Parts needed:-
KF200 (plug n play programmer)
KF204 (holden commodore key remote along with module)

This is how I programmed new set of keys for my Holden commodore 2000 VT. Had to get a new key with chip and blade in it. I used existing blade from my other key as it was working fine.

I have a 2005 VZ won't start...bin told to buy a new key....hopefully this will as I was a bit skeptical but after finding your video I have a bit of hope it works...

Off to Mister Minit for a new key and remote, ours cost $132.00 and only took 20 minutes to complete.
The programing of our new VX remote was nothing like yours. Our new key and remote came with instructions to manually unlock the door, insert the key into the ignition, turn it on and wait 20 seconds, start the car and let it idle for 20 second and that's all there was to it.

Well that was easier than I expected.
I have heard there is a way to do that without the OBD programmer, but it takes longer.

They should tell you need a KF204 key with the KF200 plug n play together for it to work. Saves the hassle.

I think that box only works so many keys though then you have to chuck it and buy another. Perhaps you should edit your description to include that info.

Will this work for a 2004 VY II? My remote and key both work fine but the rubber buttons are missing and it looks trashy. Thanks.

Good start . Hilarious. Today my key is fucked up.

I bought the exact same key because I had the same sort of issue with the broken key it programmed for starting and stopping no worries but it won't unlock or lock the car is there something I'm doing wrong with that

Hey, I've got a 2 sets of keys with the fobs but only one works properly. Would I be able to use this method to replace my working key AND get a secondary key and fob to use as a spare for my 06 vz? That way I can throw out my older two sets
