After reviewing this it's cear he is not using invisibility cloaking glass at all. Cloaking glass does not look this clear at all. I figured he is actually using mirrors in the cavity where his arm is to reflect the background. You can actually tell by looking at the sides of the box, which seem to shift in length.

Well parallel isn't the right word, you know how you can use a magnifying glass and focus it into a single point, well if you keep it the same way and just lifted it it would wrap back around but backwards, and by using another sheet of lens you can adjust the effect, meaning that if an object is around that thin part of the reflection but not covering it up, it will make the object disappear, but the glass, since it's glass, but also more glass than usual, will look more green (or whatever kind of glass they use, it's just typically a little bit green)
