leave a comment below and let me know if you use terms of service or a lawn care agreement in your lawn care business.

Plus they need to pay for having you on call scheduling out your time. Cant run a business on small piece meal one off cuts. Package deal or no deal.

Whenever a customer tells me that they don't think the grass needs cutting I tell them, ok but if this week's grass is still here next week I'm going to charge you extra for it. They look dumbfounded for a few seconds and reply "go ahead and cut it, you know what you're doing".

Here in PA we went through a very dry spell for the last month almost no rain. All my lawns were brown and yellow and crunched when you walked on them. Literally nothing to mow. I personally would feel bad if a dude ran around my yard mowing air. So I didn't cut which most were very happy of course about and ate one month almost of lost mowing. However I pushed hard for other work like hedge trimming mulching etc during that time and feel a broke even. It hurt and was annoying. I am actually considering a terms of service.

I charge a set monthly price for my customers in SW Florida, which includes mow trim edge and blow every 2 weeks April through October and once a month November through March when it's dry.

Very good subject! We do have agreements for scheduled mowing service although we do make a judgment call to skip a week during drought conditions. We try to line up bush trimming and such to help get through dry spells.

Really like your method! I go to every 3 weeks when there is a bad drought in summer, no irrigation and grass is dormant. First year full time though, so things will change. Great video!

What you do is you charge a set price for the month no matter how many times you come out the price is the the price so say you charge $75 a cut will you add that up every week for a month and automatically bill them regardless

Hope you're doing okay up there I'm in the southern part of Wisconsin and it's been super Smoky the last couple of days so I can't imagine what it is like up there also it's been dry here for a while to already had to skip to every other on most and typically that doesn't happen until mid July or August

As a baby brand new business just a few months in, this was info I needed to hear thank you. Different challenges in the northern Cali area with fire season and defensible space jobs. But still great video. Thank you
