As a Christian for about 55 years who was raised in a conservative church, I don’t see how you can be a Christian and NOT be a Democrat. Jesus teaches love, compassion and acceptance. He taught us to-care for each other, clothe the poor, feed the hungry, take in the stranger. That’s what I learned in my church.

My best friend’s family encountered something similar. The pastor told congregation to vote red or not show up to church again. Her parents stood up & verbalized their faith but disappointment they were not honoring separation of religion & government; they came to worship God not politicians. They walked out w/ a significant # of parishioners! 😂

I feel if churches are going to be involved in the political arena, then they shouldn’t be allowed to be tax exempt!
