Meet the Largest Captive Orca at SeaWorld San Diego

Ulises is one of many orcas who have been abducted from their families and forced to perform tricks in marine-mammal parks. He has displayed abnormal and aggressive behavior toward his trainers and other captive animals. It has also been reported that he often seems restless and spends a lot of his time swimming upside down or just floating listlessly. These marine mammals are highly intelligent and don't deserve to waste away in tiny tanks. Please urge SeaWorld to retire Ulises and all the other orcas to reputable seaside sanctuaries!

PETA's mission statement is that animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way:

Just because a dorsal fin is collapsed does not mean the orca is depressed.

0:26 - and yet PETA still tries to pin his capture on SeaWorld. none of SeaWorlds wild caught orcas (a massive number of 3) where caught by the park. Corky 2 came from Marineland of the Pacific, Katina came from another zoo (i can't remember which.) and Ulises came from the Barcelona Zoo.

We have the ability to set these animals free, but we just don't want to
Orca deserve to be free from captivity and at sea sanctuarys yes
We did that to keiko
You know how happy he was?
He was almost about to die in captivity when kids said free willy!
And guess what, the story became true
Fast forward swims 4000 miles to Iceland
Dies in his home at 37
He lived such a great life
Why can't we do that for him?

0:06 - actually, Ulises is 40, 10 years older than the life expectancy for wild male orcas.

This is just, I can’t, most of these photos and videos aren’t even of Ulises, you don’t even credit who you got the footage from, that’s sad.

0:41 who the heck is that? it's an orca from Loro Parque i think. but it's not freaking Ulises. just like them using footage of Orkid at 1:06. man, PETA really needs to learn how to ID these orcas.

This was a flop most of the whales aren’t even him. You guys should really studying whales in captivity before making an uneducated video about them.

You fail to mention Ulises was not captured by SeaWorld, they are not the ones who kept him with only dolphins, dorsal collapse is normal, orcas sleeping is normal, and that half of the whales shown are not Ulises.
