Bought one brand new a few weeks ago as a birthday present to myself. I love it. It’s bigger than you’d expect. Love the GTI red theme running through the interior. Drive it mainly in normal mode as I live in central London. You sometimes forget it has so much power for a smallish Hatchback. On the right road in sports mode, I can confirm it’s fast enough. Also love the beats stereo system. Go for the smaller alloys as it makes for a more comfortable quiet ride. The larger Diamond alloys look great though. Insurance is reasonable as I think it’s In the 23 E range. Apple car play as standard. My favourite thing about it is that the word Polo is nowhere to be seen. I’ve had people asking if it’s a golf. It’s about 0.2 seconds slower than the Golf GTI at 0-60. Save about 10 grand and go for the Polo. However, the Golf is a bit more premium than the Polo. Was thinking of getting an R but insurance and running costs are higher. Just a word of advice. Colour can make a huge difference to the insurance price . A Grey version saved me £500 compared to the black version.

That's the best looking VW I've seen. I used to have a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI that I customized and it was pretty fast in sport mode.

Unfortunately, in America, the mentality is, bigger is better. This is the car that we need in the states. Not over grown EV SUV’s, that our government is forcing down our throats !
