I'm father to a woman of 33, who is a teacher. She had to deal with a young guy just like Trent when she was still starting out. It turns out that sometimes, this kind of take down is necessary. Emily (my daughter) is blonde and very attractive, so this young guy thought a few dumb blonde jokes would be fun. Unfortunately for him, Em is not a stereotype. She didn't quite eviscerate her antagonist like this woman does, but she did deflate him in front of his friends with a joke at his expense. As it turned out, he had a quite a crush on her and he was man enough to come and apologise to her in person and they had a good working relationship from then on. I should point out that Emily is 6 feet tall and is more than capable of defending herself physically as well. As a teacher, she can't ever use that against a student, but as a teenager, she laid out a guy who was bullying a friend of hers. She was suspended from school for a week, so it was interesting when she chose teaching as a profession.
