I had to put more layers in to loosen mine up a few years ago. It looks so pretty now. I'm thinking of trying more next time, I notice the top is more wave and frizz of new growth/baby hair.

So, I used to have a head full of 3a/3b curls, but I lost my curls due to years and years of heat damage, I've been heat free for almost 5 years but I started bleaching 😳 my roots are grown out to my natural color which is my goal to start wearing it 1000% natural from now on. But my roots are straight and the back of my hair is straight/wavy, the hair around my face is curly is beautiful no my natural curls yet but making a lot of progress. I feel like I can't figure out my roots and back even with clips

My son who’s 5 has curls except one section in front (think bangs) they won’t curl no matter what. I’ve cut, I’ve put leave-in. Nothing works for that two inch section. I need help.

Chloe, is it a risk to cut layers tho? What if the hair loses its curl when you cut layers because only the ends were curly?
