Welcome to the Blue Mouse Knits! Today I'll be walking you through how to knit a Cable 2 Front (C2F) which is a 2 stitch cable that leans to the left. In this video I'll be demonstrating how to work this with a cable needle, but its actually easier without one in my opinion, so you can find that video here:

I was taught in my cabling class yesterday to knit the stitch directly off the cable needle but this seems way easier!

Wait…. Those crooked plastic things are for CABLING?!?!?!?
😮😮😮😮

I never really knew how to look it up so I just put them away when they came with my knitting needles, but this is amazingly helpful!

Hello! I absolutely love your channel and am so grateful for all your awesome tutorials! I’ve a question about cable front knitting - how do I avoid a gap when knitting the stitch after I’ve put the required stitches onto a cable needle please? Thank you!

Why not knit it right from the cable needle? Would it make a difference, if not broight back to the left hand needle?
