The scary thing is how many and how vast Underground Structures we have all over the world that we will never know about but can speculate given what we know and the technology we have today. It is theorized that there are transcontinental tunnels and city complexes that are beneath are very feet. I've been inside the Cu Chi tunnels in Vietnam. They did mention that they widened the tunnels so tourists could fit inside them. My knees were in my face while walking through them. Also been inside the third infiltration tunnel in the DMZ. At the end we were 170m from the actual NK border.

It’s still very intriguing that all the underground cities are scary to think living underground would be an adjustment for people with claustrophobia, in that just knowingly being down below, my Father worked in the gold mines of the Black Hills of Deadwood So.Dakota, and had a long stretch of floors to get to work. And my Grandmother had to go down many floors to do make up on the deceased, in a Morgue below, at 16 years old for getting into cosmetology, and later she had her own beauty salon. But my Mom had claustrophobia always and yelled when she went to the caverns with our friends.

Why is it that when the 2 massive salt mines were open to tourists, both of them were convinced that once getting down there, one of the first things people would want to do is . . . play ping pong?!?!?!

My great-grandmother originally lived in western Prussia (now part of Poland). I have inherited a small wooden sculpture of a man, 13 inches high, carrying in one hand a candle, and in the other a kind of hand axe. It is supposed to be a representation of an underground salt miner. I have no other information about it.
