Read this book back in 7th grade, decided to watch the movie and I burst into tears at the parts of the bombings, it's hard to see that kind of thing and think that we could be living in that, if it weren't for the people who ended segregation, they are truly a gift to the world. Kids don't realize how great of a world we live in, now same sex marriage is legal in the U.S and maybe someday, the world will be a better place, being in 9th grade now makes me realize how much I take for granted, I'm glad I watched that movie.
