Cynthia Mare

Cynthia Mare is an Afro Fusion musician based in Harare, Zimbabwe, known for heartfelt and inspirational music.Cynthia Mare’s story began in Zimbabwe, where she was born and grew up with a dream of being a singer. Aged 16 she moved to the UK to study nursing and that is where she began her musical journey as an R&B singer. Later on, deciding to make music that reflected her origins and experiences, Cynthia changed her music to an African Fusion sound, with influences of Jazz and Gospel. She also incorporated traditional Zimbabwean sounds of guitar and mbira.
