Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an amazing composer!! His direction and his music have no comparison. He keeps the melody alive in his movies.

It's amazing how Bhansali always matches rhythm of the song with visuals throughout the song... Best example is at around 1:22, when that man hits Shantanu on exact beat, and also Alia's little nod at around 2:36 - on exact beat - which is no coincidence, Bhansali deliberately wanted those to happen on that exact time. It's just crazy how Bhansali puts attention to even the tiniest detail! I'm a Sri Lankan fan of Bhansali sir since I was a child - I was mesmerized by attention to detail in Devdas, and to this day - Bhansali never failed to amaze me. Would love to learn filmmaking from this great personality - that would be a dream come true :)

Who can ever narrate a love story without dialogue and just expressions alone? I would say only a tasteful director like mr Sanjay Leela bansali and a method actress alia bhatt can do it. It’s a beautiful zig Zaw puzzle pieces (mr bansali direction+alia bhatt+shreya ghoshal magical voice+bansali music put together to give us a great pieces of artistic love story.

Not forgetting the debut shantanu was used well for this scene and movie. Love love everything about this song and movie. I can’t replace alia bhatt with anyone for this
