Duncan deserved that title more than anyone man, he played so hard for the entire series.  It's a true shame that he doesn't have 5 titles right now, it really seemed like last year was his time.

There will never be another Tim Duncan. It'll be sad to see him lace up for the last time. I try to watch him as much as I can knowing that his retirement is right around the corner.

Despite the loss, this series enhanced Duncan's legacy. At 37 years old, he was at times the best player in this series. This 25-point half was just legendary. Had the Spurs won, he would have won his 4th Finals MVP. Had he not been benched at the end of game 6, he would have grabbed the championship-securing rebound.

Tim Duncan's footwork and moves are like a body of art. It's so smooth. How many players have you seen go from power forward to center or any other position in their career without hardship? Duncan is the best at what he does at his position, whether power forward or center.

He played like a beast knowing that it was possibly his last and best shot at a 5th title. It is very likely he would give a similar performance in game 7. I hope he has the legs to finish the game like a champion whether or not he wins it. He deserves to be remembered as a champion and a dominating force.

It may not be flashy, but to see Tim Duncan dominate down low the way he does, to me this is exciting basketball. The Big Fundamental doin' work.

Tim Duncan still has a season or 2 left in him. Tim if you retire I wanna thank you for showing us how a Big man even without athleticism can dominate this beautiful game of Basketball with fundamentals and IQ. Even though as a Heat fan I love watching Tim Duncan play.

Kobe, Dirk, Nash, and Garnett are all great but Duncan is simply the best of their generation.

How pop didn't have tim in at the end of the game and allow not 1 but 2 critical 2nd chance possessions off Miami offensive boards will forever make me scratch my head

If they had beaten the Heat here, Duncan would have been MVP of the finals at such an advanced age.
