Why would the Paris Olympics celebrate Greek Mythology? This would make sense if they were in Athens but is seems like a stretch in France.
To top it off, that portion of the opening ceremony was literally called "La Cène Sur Un Scène Sur La Seine, ".
This translates to: "The Last Supper on a Stage on the Seine."

I am not a religious person, and I thought this was absolutely disgusting, disturbing, and disrespectful on so many levels. Not just to Christians but to Greeks who started the Olympics! Isn't the opening ceremony supposed to be a way to celebrate the hosting country and their achievement while also celebrating exceptional athletes!!! If this is Frances' achievements, then it tells you all you need to know about that country. RIP France! I will no longer support the Olympics.
