Fun fact: The first Continuum was released 26 years ago, and its development started over 40 years ago! Also, its worth noting that Continuums are handmade, one at a time, and the machining process and components are extremely expensive. Haken Audio is a very small company (basically 3 people), so for now, the price is set for them to simply break even.

"You can never play this the same again" is the best characteristic an instrument could have

I didn't need, or even want, to watch this video. But I couldn't stop. Stunningly beautiful tones. Thanks!

My mind was officially blown at Sostenuto. I can't tell you how many times over the years I wished for something like that, to hear someone just casually mention: "this isn't sustain it's Sostenuto" 🤯

This...THIS is the BEST instrument I have EVER seen! It has everything I want! Alot of voices, freedom of pitch, pressure points I just can't express it with words! I hope one day I can get one! Whoever came up with it and the people who worked and working on this and I can't express it enough, thank you THANK YOU so much for making this a reality! And thank you Josh Madoff sir for this incredible tour!

I’m so grateful that the Osmose exists as a more affordable door into this world. The Continuum is on another level, of course.

This is inspirational. Literally. I'm a church musician. I can see a church service, with parts of the liturgy connected by musical interludes from the Continuum. With congregational singing supported by the Continuum.

Now I just have to buy it, all of its accessories, and master it so that I can perform live with it.

Whew.

This demo reminds me of the first time I heard a DX7 in 1984. The guy demoing it played every patch with a song that fit that patch. I was blown away. I dragged my husband back to listen to it. This particular day, the guy demoing it only knew how to play one chord. He played that one chord on every single patch. My husband was not impressed. The first time when I’d been there by myself, the instrument was in the hands of a master. I feel like we’re hearing this instrument played by the hands of a master.

Haken Audio world is wonderful but complex.
Josh has a gift to convert complexity into simplicity.
Thank you so much.

EASILY... easily... the most amazing programable keyboard set I've ever seen in my life... just astounding. Incredible range and sensitivity, programmable response. Everything a synth composer could want, and then some. Can hardly wait to place my fingertips on the keys... what a musician-and sonically dedicated instrument!

Pretty sure my borderline synesthesia would be on melodic overload, in the best possible ways...

That would have to be one of the best review/demos I have ever watched. I'm still not sure what impressed me the most. You nailed it on so many levels man. I'm wanting one, just cos you said so :)
But seriously, what an instrument. The mind is boggling at its creative potential. It's a completely unique instrument in its own right for sure. I've had some instruments in my 60 years. But this thing? I want one. ...bad! Great review. Thank you.

I felt so much range of emotions throughout this walkthrough! What an insane instrument!!
On some i felt melancholic, others lonely, evil, motivated to go hard, intense saudade, sad, elated, driven, happy, joyous, calm, soothed, euphoric, my god
