$9,000 HOUSE - CRUMBLING FOUNDATION - #21

In Episode 21 I avoid the Corona virus by keeping my nose to the grindstone. To distract myself from the end of the world, I decide to tear up the side porch on the house, replacing the roof and foundation. This renovation has clearly gone far, much further than I wanted but that seems to be the pattern for me.

My tools sold here along with things I wish I had.....

Who else found 22:48 satisfying when he hit those blocks on time with the music?

You’re such a hard worker.. so much detail and care.. so much thought into longevity... preservation... so glad you’re thinking about purchasing tools to help you.. as you do so much alone... wishing I could jump through the screen and help you! Impressed by your work ethic! 👍🏻

"Tear it off and replace it with a simple, open deck/porch" is exactly what I was thinking. But what you got done is a big improvement. Getting the bushes out of there helps a lot, too.

I like how you are honest about the roller coaster renovation is. This is the reality of it.

Hey I know it wasn't fun ripping out that foundation and digging, but the music on the time lapse made it fun!

I personally love watching you fix these old houses. I live in a house built in 1920, and I love it. Lots of uneven lines, but it has character. Not much for cookie cutter designs!

Great to see you posting. Keep it em coming. Vinyl on the floor. Add a new porch / deck to the doorway.

That front sun room would be great for plants and for that reason I would put down tile or linoleum instead of carpet. 👍🏾

Tearing that corner out made such a huge difference in that poor old ladys appearance. Can't wait to see her all trimmed out. So gratifying to see her transformation!! Great video.

@ 22:49 - I don't know if it was intentional, but I appreciated the timing of the music with the hammering.

You don't owe me anything sir. Thank you for continuing to bring us updates, stay healthy!

You give me hope that the terrible old house I've been working on for almost 2 years is worth the time. At least I hope.
