Skydio 2 Crashed First Flight :/ (reUPDATED)

Well i waited almost 2 years for this drone my first order got pushed to the next batch (???) then it was a LONG waiting list was taking months to fill the orders then covid hit and shut down the factory....i FINALLY got it and got it going....it seemed to fly ok but when i went back to test out the beacon the drone hit a branch then a tree then into an axe leaning against a stump and broke it up :/
UPDATE: in contact with skydio ...well actually i havent really talked to a real person yet.... but will update with my experience with their service department .....
UPDATE 2 (4/6/21) : its been another week.... ive emailed skydio cs several times and have not once received a response yet.... so im going to try and email them on a sales thread where i was getting occasional responses from ......also i tried calling them at least 3 times last week during business hours and only got a recording telling me to leave my number and they will call me back.....ive never got any callbacks .....but i do live remotely with sketch reception so i only call them and check my messages when im down the mountain....but to be fair i was down the mountain all weeek and would have received a call plus i have voice mail .....will update when i get in contact with service dept .... i know they are operating different since the whole covid thing......
UPDATE 3 (4/15) i never heard back from skydio so i went back to the old sales thread email and within 24 hrs i got a response from customer service ...it gives me instructions on how to upload and send the drone logs and beacons logs then once that is done they will contact me for the next step......
UPDATE 4 (4/22) been in contact with CS and got this reply today "After thorough review from our engineering team, we’ve concluded that the incident falls outside the scope of our Skydio safety guidelines, and thus wouldn't be a crash that is covered under the product warranty. "
FINAL UPDATE 6/14 skydio sent me out a new drone ....
