Really, not a single comment - I am astonished, so will start things off :)
Over many decades as an Oxford academic, I spent many, many hours ( most likely years ) in the Ashmolean, and freely admit to some alarm when confronted with the planned developments.However, the final result is inescapably brilliant, the new display functions and capabilities are now world class in every way. This video provides a wealth of information and back history to the why`s, how`s and when`s of the extensive development of the museum - and presented in an informal and entertaining manner - splendid :)
