When I tried to run the app after changing the name to "MaterialApp" like you did, I got an error (under the Problems section) about the file "widget_test.dart" (on the left pane, this file and its parent folder "test" both turned red/brown). The error said "The name 'MyApp' isn't a class. Try correcting the name to match an existing class.". So, I went ahead into "widget_test.dart" and changed "MyApp" to "MaterialApp" and it ran fine. I noticed that when you run the app, you did not get the error that I did. So, what gives?

very interesting. However, with flet in python, it would be interesting to delve into flutter for python using the flet framework. You have made me so passionately in love with python, switching to another programming language haven't been that easy. so expecting your flet series soon.

Hoping someone has some insight, at 3:48 he says boom, saves it, and //MaterialApp appears on his, but not mine.... I also have errors, saying MyApp isn't an existing class - but I did change it to MaterialApp and it doesn't show My App anywhere. This all seems so simple till you hit weird mistakes, I don't know how to google whats happening lol.

Great video, but using hotkeys when explaining noobs how to do stuff is not the best. 3:45 you use a shortcut to save and it makes the code more readable, but when i go to file and save it's not making it more readable.

Unfortunately these teachings seems not to be compatible with new flutter sdk or dart. Every instruction you give it throws some errors. Maybe downgrading sdk to 2022 version fix the problems? I don't know!
