You've put some very impressive research and thought into this Bree. My choice of SF often features politics and discusses it in practical albeit fantastical environments. I'm very interested to see where you go with this and how you integrate all the different aspects of politics and their interactions in both directions on literature.

Some of Orson Scott Card's books really turned me off when they were super heavy on the Mormon side, but I love his Seven Son Series.
