GTA 4 map feels much bigger even though it's because of those skyscrapers

In GTA 2’s industrial district there is actually an island in the top left corner called “mad island”, which was run by a gang hostile to anyone. The developers removing it on the map is a cool little detail.

Remember, GTA San Andreas was the only one that has 3 international airports plus one abandoned airfield...

I expected San Fierro and Las Venturas along with Los Santos at the time when I realized GTA 5 is gonna take place in San Andreas State. But, unfortunately only Los Santos was there, but even more bigger than the previous whole San Andreas State (GTA San Andreas). If the other two cities (San Fierro and Las Venturas) were too developed, the now GTA 5 map would be thrice bigger from the Actual GTA 5 map.

I played all GTAs since I was 4, just knew that both Vice City and San Andreas are in the original GTA 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Damn, the nostalgia hit me hard when I heard that song 0:52 🥺 My favourite is still San Andreas, can’t describe how impressed was I with the big map poster that came in the CD box. I wish I kept it until now. Sadly with digital copies, these nice little touches are going extinct :(

"Ardler" on the original GTA map is a real place. It's a well known rundown area of Dundee, the city where DMA Design were based at the time.

I prefer Liberty City as it actually has a city like map (especially the middle island) while Los Santos is just a dessert
