It’s crazy to think about but we’re coming up on the fifth anniversary of the updated Stormtrooper buck and we’re still missing out on so many updates and repaints but let’s just go ahead and get a 2025 Stormtrooper update along the lines of the 2023 Clone! Let’s get a Sandtrooper, new Shadowtrooper, Shock Trooper, all the repaints. Bring back the textured paint Hasbro!

Din Djarin, having lost his blasters and with his other suit weapons malfunctioning, desperately hides among some large gnarled tree roots on Endor.
A Yautja, a Predator, is nearby. Soon the Predator roars and leaps into the trees, his clicking fading away as he targets a distant Ewok with his tri-laser sights.
The Mandalorian breathes a sigh of relief and he looks down at his muddy armor. He says quietly as he gathers some on his trembling gloved hand, "he couldn't see me....mud is the way."

Black Series retirement is a great idea for a series!

There were like 4 Sandtroopers on the original mold, they could slightly change the mold for the Sandtrooper and they’d have 4 figures to rerelease.

With some improvements, a new Sand-trooper would go absolutely hard. It’s definitely interesting that so many of these concepts are just dismissed and never retooled or brought up again.

This episode was "Lit" 😂. The best part of that muddy mando was the mudhorn egg to display with the jawas. On the note of more 2020 storm trooper variants, I hope Scar Squad finishes out in the line as Kreel and Mic are some of, if not the best, use of that body we have scene.

Muddy Mando is a fun figure, I have him posed keeping the SOOGA away from an offworld jawa. Been studying up on some Black Series and Hasbro lore, hopefully I’ll know my stuff enough for Sunday!

3 dimensional paint equals buzzword over sprayed paint. They probably blew the paint budget for 3 years on this figure. I would love to see a timeline of when the quality and paint started to get cheap. Guavian Enforcer? Paint wash all around. Now with all the mandos not even a scuff of paint on the back side. I really wish Hasbro was not hog tied by Disney LF TBS could really cook.

While this paint application method was short-lived, I wouldn't have minded seeing them improve on the technology. But of course, there's the possibility it might jack up the price for a single figure as well since paint costs money like in the case of Mando.

If I die tomorrow, I will at least die knowing I've spread some awareness on the Stormtrooper holster. Definitely with you guys on this, OT altogether needs its fair share of love within Black Series, including some updates with Stormtrooper variations. Hopefully a new Han Solo is on the horizon along with the updated Luke and Leia...

Hey guys! Great video! Did they do that paint affect with the snowy Mando ? Mine is put away right now in storage so I couldn’t compare it. I really wish they would redo some sand troopers. Totally agree with you, gentlemen. Oh, by the way, couldn’t remember which week the video was but I was pretty busy at the time and I couldn’t comment. But….Spotchka!!! Great Vid Guys! I get why Hasbro stepped back from the 3D paint, it really only works on Mando or Mudtrooper at present and possibly a future Snowtrooper. When it comes to paint I like light dry brushing to bring out detail but not a big fan of the weathering (Sandtroopers are the exception) it is to easy to dirty up a Sculpt, just give it to a kid with a chocolate ice cream cone and send them out to play, Done . As for a new Sandtrooper make it Deleuxe.. put it on the 2020 body, throw in the 2-3 weapons and 2-3 pauldrons. An easy sell for me 💯

I grew up in the 80s and remember seeing the only figures in my local toy shop were Barada, yakface, B wing pilot, imperial dignitry, pruneface but I once saw a whole isle of speeder bikes and at st like four shelves high .

They should do a build up pack with the sandtrooper and it come with all the pauldrons weapons and the droid part from the movie and with paint technique of course
