This year in Arkansas fall 2018 it's been wettest I can remember, rice crop had alot of lodging, my renter got the rice off my place without very much rutting or much rain delay. All the rice graded no.1 as far as milling and yielded 186 green bushels. Had some friends and neighbors that had downed rice in flooded fields. Rice will germinate at about 23 to 24 percent moisture in 50 degree weather. My rice was harvested at about 16 to 17 percent moisture which is perfect, 15 percent and lower results in cracking the rice which effects milling quality.

Every farmer needs a Kelly diamond. You could dry that up and shallow that out in no time.
