Hello Doctor. Thank you so much for the detailed information. My aunt was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in july. She underwent surgerical removal of ovaries, fallopian tube, few lymph nodes as well. Later did 6 rounds of chemo, and 25 rounds of radiation. Amidst radiation she also had kidney stone issues which delayed the rounds of radiation by 1-2 weeks. PET scan post therapies showed no CANCER CELLS . However, appetite remained poor, and so was abdominal tightness. So she went back n Paracentesis was performed, results showed RECURRENCE OF CANCER CELLS, now she is undergoing another strong chemo DOX dose, and within 2 weeks another paracentesis was performed. She now has tap test done waiting on results and start targeted therapy. But how does this line of treatments sound to you? What could be the prognosis? She is currently at ambani hospital in Mumbai. But would want to get a 2nd opinion. PMH: no medical history apart from 1st child death post delivery 3 mnths, and later had twins in her life. Kidney stones issues post menopausal which mimicd the bleeding s/s of ovarian cancer. Pls we are at a lost of what else could be done

No it's not treatable. It's only expensive to survive, with lots of pain and discomfort of course.
