Holley Electric Fuel Pump Install Tip! Use studs in the block, tighten with crowfoot wrench!

I have put this pump on my engine a number of times and it's usually been a major pain in the derriere.
The problem was that the hold down bolts for the bracket to the engine block, would be interfered with by the pinch bolt that keeps the pump in the bracket.
And to compound things, if I was installing it with the engine in place, the reaching was an additional pain.
Well, studding the block and installing to the block with nuts was a big help because it removed the issue of starting bolts in cramped space.
And reaching in with a crowfoot made turning the nuts much less trouble.

That pump is louder than the engine itself 😂😂

Lol love the fact you bolted an electric pump right where the mechanical pump goes. I see an oil leak In Your future. 😂

I thought when using an electric fuel pump you mount it close and lower to the fuel tank otherwise your pump will be short lived?

Shouldn't you use a block off plate?

stupid idea. Electric pumps like to push, not pull.
