Sam Aaron, and Postdoc Researcher at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, is discussing the idea of programming as performance, examining the importance of emphasising, exploring and celebrating creativity within all aspects of the skillset.

By day, Sam Aaron is a mild-mannered Research Associate at the Cambridge University Digital Technology Group. By night, he’s a live coder who considers programming as performance and strongly believes in the importance of celebrating creativity within all aspects of programming. He is also the lead developer of Overtone and Quil, both very powerful live coding platforms and the creator of sonic Pi which is used to teach programming to young people and children. Sam's talk and performance will be a compelling display of what happens when you mash up passion, creativity and code.

The audio level is not good, it should be normalized, because i cant hear Sam well. Its soft and loud - basically mixed levels of audio
What does this mean for the DJ industry and affects towards existing DJs/Producers like Above n Beyond / Paul Oakenfold / Carl Cox / Armin Van Buuren / Nifra/ Nora En Pure / Kristina Sky / Giuseppe Ottaviani / Ferry Corsten / Johan Gielen - i dont know what software they use to build their tracks, but with this kind of software...i do not know what the direction is - its becoming complicated like programming or choosing what sweet or medicine to buy - there is too much product now
