Shadow not only is gonna be in Sonic 3, but he’s also getting his own side-game in an upcoming rerelease of Sonic Generations, hence 2024 being dubbed The Year of Shadow!

As a Sonic fan I do hope future Lego sets have Big the Cat, Blaze the Cat, Cream the rabbit and Cheese and Omega.

The best one is Knuckles’ shrine. Not only great to have a variant of Knuckles, Angel Island, compatible with the Master Emerald pedestal, but the fact that LEGO acknowledges Knuckles’ love of grapes (Chef’s kiss)

Finally after years of hoping we have a Lego super sonic minifigure, I can now build literally every sonic game ever that takes place after sonic 2 (the debut of super sonic) unfortunately we don’t have metal sonic yet, maybe one day

The ideal Knuckles set:
-shrine AND Master Emerald
-the mech, because it’s honestly pretty cool
-Someone like Bunnie Rabbot or Sonia & Manic instead of the flat characters he’s usually packaged with

I’m wondering what the potential next wave will introduce in terms of characters. I’m only going to guess that Sega won’t allow IDW characters to get minifigures

I will definitely get the shrine set since I love sets of places and I'll get the drillster set, because of Super Sonic, but also because I didn't get either of the two sets with Eggman from the first line since one was too big and the other seemed too expensive for what it was.

Looks like you can take the removable part of the egg drillster and swap it with the top part of the mech in the green hill zone loop challenge set

Was expecting to get more new characters, like Metal Sonic or Big the Cat, but at least we got Super Sonic.

I am absolutely getting the super sonic vs eggman drillster and the master emerald shrine! I think next year for the January wave they should make a super shadow and for the winter wave a silver minifigure and for 2026 the first wave of sonic sets should have a big set which has an exclusive super silver with super sonic and super shadow in it to have a type of Sonic 06 final battle.
