Tnx I was thinking how the hell could there be zero force and still maintain to have motion .

I saw this statement in my text book
The opossing frictional forces or viscous forces are always present in the natural world. This explains the practical experience that "forces by external agencies are required to counter the frictional forces to keep the boby in uniform motion ."
from the above it is clear that there is an external force which keeps the body in uniform velocity.
My question : how can we say that the net force acting on the body moving with uniform velocity is
The zero net force acting on the body moving with uniform motion is possible only in case of ideal conditions where the motion takes place with no opossing forces (frictional, viscous) ....
Any one who is reading this comment please reply me...
