Most new cars especially come with way to small exhausts for the car to breathe correctly due to EPA standards, my 2023 FairladyZ for example came with a 1 and 3/4 exhaust diameter… my 1997 Lexus es300 came with 2 and 1/4 diameter stock… a new twin turbo V6 making 400hp stock comes with 1.75 but a 97 with an NA V6 making 220hp comes with a 2.25…. Huge different. All my cars I get I have a custom titanium exhausts. Built for, then get an aftermarket air intake, if there’s not airbox on the market then I use a cold air intake and cut down the factory airbox in a way to induct cold air (either a hood vent or a vent like from the front end straight into the box. Then tint while I ponder around on wheels if I don’t have a set in mind for it already.
