Jesus always calls to us and even a roman soldier can be brought to the realization of believing in God with the words of Paul and his love of this man. Luke saved his daughter and he is thankful with tears of joy.

If there is even a small chance that something like scene actually took place, I truly hope that the centurian came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord .. The New Testament speaks of many of Caesar's household coming to the Faith . I know it's just a movie, but I think you know what I am saying . God Bless all my brothers & sisters here

Thank you Kine Master, this is the best scene in the movie. If only we could have seen the conversion of the Roman soldier who is speaking with Paul. That would be a movie worth watching.

The thing that makes the scene the most BEAUTIFUL, is when the warden shrugs off what Paul is saying, and then Paul shows kindness by making light of it with a joke, and shares a laugh with the warden. Then Paul hits him with the line that makes all of our eyeballs sweat... kinda like the warden's did. Why did you leave out a crucial part like that?

This scene tells me, we do not have to be the person who converts those around us, we just have to be the example of Christ that will plant the seed, and Christ will see that seed grow in time according to His will.
