4 Linear Actuator Control Types Explained

Показать описание
We're proud to offer the widest selection of stroke lengths, gearing options and input types available at an affordable price.
In this video, I'm going to go through the 4 main input types of Actuonix actuators to help you understand which device will best fit your project. The 4 input types are below.
I Series - I series micro actuators feature a non-programmable embedded position controller and 4 different input modes. RC, 4-20mA, PWM and 0-5V. It will automatically configure itself for the correct input mode depending on which leads are plugged in when the device is powered up.
R Series - The R series is actually a linear servo. It features the same 3-wire connector as a standard rotary servo and is plug and play compatible with standard servos. This means that you can plug an R-series actuator right into your RC receiver.
P Series - P series linear actuators have position feedback and are intended for use with our linear actuator control board. Using the LAC board, you have control over extended and retracted end limits, sensitivity and speed. You also have your choice of 5 input modes via the LAC board.
S Series - S series micro linear actuators feature end of stroke limit switches to shut the device off automatically when it reaches it's stroke limit. S series actuators are ideal for applications where you want to control your device with a simple button, rocker switch or remote control.
